We continued on for another few two
kilometers before finding more ruins. These were again built
under a south facing rock ledge. These ruins had been destroyed by
falling debris. There were remnants of several structures that were cylindrical
in nature with small openings. Possibly graineries? There
were also multiple pictographs and some interesting holes in the mud floor, which
may have been storage spaces for water or other perishables? In addition previous
hikers had laid out on a rock slab a bunch of pottery shards and tiny ears of
corn. |
